I’m talking to a friend from school right now and she is just totally and completely stuck on this one guy. He’s been in and out of jail and plays her like a deck of cards. Yet, she still ‘loves’ him. Why? I have NO clue.

It breaks my heart when I see girls like her who don’t see their true value, the ones that feel that they have to find it in guys. She is such a sweetheart and could do so much better (but that’s ususally the case, isn’t it?) I just don’t see why she’s stuck on this one guy.

Girls — please, set higher standards for yourself. Know that your true value can only be found in Jesus Christ. Don’t look for love, especially in guys who are no good for you. You are already of more value to someone than you could ever imagine. You are someone’s future.
